The #GBHour debut 14th June 2013 – How it went

A massive thank you to everyone that took part in the first ever #GBHour today. We were absolutely delighted with the response and cannot wait until next week to do it all over again. As @Celtalan1 mentioned, next Friday is Summer Solstice so an extra special #GBHour will be had.

This week, #GBHour chose @PartyBagGoodies to sponsor the event, an honor for which there is no charge. We hope you enjoyed the event and will be back with us next week.

As well as some great networking and banter, we also had a quick quiz during this weeks #GBHour. 5 questions were set out ready but question 4 proved to be a stumbling block which meant question 5 missed it’s opportunity. Had it been asked it would’ve been;

Who held the world record for running the hundred-yard dash backward for more than forty years, until it was broken in 1977?

Would you have known it??? Comment and let us know :0)

During #GBHour we asked everyone to retweet our tweets and get involved with the fun. We then chose a new business to be our sponsor for next weeks event. The lucky winner was @PhaTStuffDesign who will get an hour in the #GBHour spotlight next week.

Thank you to the following tweeps for their contribution today, it was great to have you as part of the first ever #GBHour and we look forward to seeing you again next week;

Thanks to you guys and everyone else that took part, we can’t wait to see you all there again next week for the second ever #GBHour.

Please feel free to comment and let us know what you thought of the event. Maybe even use it as another opportunity to plug your business.

Have a great weekend everyone and take care
